SURAMERICA EN EL TOP 10
Seis CONs miembros de la ODESUR han tenido una gran performance en los Juegos Panamericanos Santiago 2023. Brasil ha quedado en segundo lugar por encima de países como Canadá, México y Cuba. Los demás CONs que son parte del Top 10 del continente son Colombia (6), Argentina (7) Perú (9) y Venezuela (10). Finalmente felicitar a los anfitriones por estos excelentes juegos y por la octava posición obtenida en estos Juegos Panamericanos.

SOUTH AMERICA TOP 10
Six ODESUR member NOCs have had a great performance at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. Brazil came in second place ahead of countries such as Canada, Mexico and Cuba. The other NOCs that are part of the Top 10 of the continent are Colombia (6), Argentina (7) Peru (9) and Venezuela (10). Finally, congratulations to the hosts for these excellent games and for the eighth position obtained in these Pan American Games.

BOLIVIA LO VOLOVIO A HACER
Bolivia volvió a demostrarse una potencia continental del ráquetbol, donde cosechó las cinco medallas del país en los Juegos Panamericanos de Santiago 2023. Al igual que en Lima 2019, Conrrado Moscoso y Carlos Keller volvieron a dar una medalla de oro al COB en el Raquetbol por equipos masculino.

BOLIVIA DID IT AGAIN
Bolivia once again proved to be a continental power in racquetball, where it harvested the country's five medals at the Pan American Games of Santiago 2023. As in Lima 2019, Conrrado Moscoso and Carlos Keller again gave a gold medal to the BOC in men's team racquetball.
ECUADOR PEDALEO HASTA ALCANZAR EL ORO
Jhonatan Narváez destacó en los Juegos Panamericanos de Santiago 2023 al ganar la medalla de oro en la competición de ciclismo. Su notable habilidad y determinación le llevaron a la victoria, convirtiéndose en un referente en el ámbito deportivo. ECUADOR PEDALED ITS WAY TO THE GOLD MEDAL
Jhonatan Narváez stood out in the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago by winning the gold medal in cycling. GUYANA REGRESA AL PODIO
Guyana consiguió una medalla de plata y dos bronce en atletismo. Las pruebas de 100 metros masculino, lanzamiento de jabalina masculino y 100 metros femenino permitieron el regreso de este país al medallero tras no conseguir una medalla desde los Juegos Panamericanos de Guadalajara 2011.

GUYANA RETURNS TO THE PODIUM
Guyana won a silver medal and two bronze medals in athletics. The men's 100m, men's javelin throw and women's 100m events allowed Guyana to return to the medals table after not winning a medal since the Guadalajara 2011 Pan American Games.

Gianna Woodruff logró un hito notable para el atletismo panameño, al convertirse en la primera mujer panameña que gana en atletismo en la historia de los Juegos Panamericanos.

Gianna Woodruff accomplished a remarkable milestone for Panamanian athletics, becoming the first woman from Panama to win in athletics in the history of the Pan American Games.
MISMO DEPORTE, MISMA MEDALLA
Sofía García, representante paraguaya en golf femenino, consiguió nuevamente una medalla de oro para Paraguay en los Juegos Panamericanos. En la edición anterior, la victoria fue para Fabrizio Zanotti, pero esta vez, las mujeres se llevaron el reconocimiento gracias al destacado desempeño de García en la competición. Su logro continúa fortaleciendo el prestigio del deporte paraguayo a nivel internacional.

SAME SPORT SAME MEDAL
Sofía García, the Paraguayan representative in women's golf, once again secured a gold medal for Paraguay in the Pan American Games. In the previous edition, Fabrizio Zanotti claimed the victory, but this time, the spotlight was on the women, with García delivering an outstanding performance in the competition. SURINAM HACE HISTORIA LUEGO DE 24 AÑOS
Jair Tjon En Fa ganó plata en la prueba de velocidad pese a que en su país no hay velódromos. El ciclista de pista surinamés Jair Tjon En Fa logró llevarse la primera medalla panamericana para su país en Santiago 2023. Fue un hecho histórico porque desde Winnipeg 1999 que Surinam no tenía algún deportista en el podio panamericano.

SURINAME MAKES HISTORY AFTER 24 YEARS
Jair Tjon En Fa won silver in the sprint event despite the fact that there are no velodromes in his country. Surinamese track cyclist Jair Tjon En Fa won the first Pan American medal for his country in Santiago 2023. It was a historic event because Suriname had not had an athlete on the Pan American podium since Winnipeg 1999.
REMANDO HASTA ALCANZAR EL ORO
Martín Zócalo y Eric Seawright ganaron la medalla de oro en el doble par abierto tras quedarse con la final con un tiempo de 6’22”07 superando al bote de Cuba, que fue plata con 6’23”69, y al de Chile, bronce con 6’26”70. El remo cerró en Santiago 2023 una actuación histórica con cinco medallas (dos de oro, dos de plata y una de bronce) alcanzando así la mejor actuación de un deporte uruguayo en los Juegos Panamericanos.
